New Features
The new features will allow the usage of section environment variables and the definition of default section IDs for article subjects.
Section environment variables will allow to create section code controlled by environment variables. So instead of editing section or page object code only environment variables are defined. The data of these variables is then used either in sections or page objects to control the output. This will allow to use fewer sections and easier maitenance of existing section code.
So far there has not been an easy possibility to link article subjects with section ids. One solution was to add the section id to the URL. Or another one was hardcoding the relationships. Either way section or page objects had to be changed. This will change with the introduction of default section IDs for article subjects.
Both features will be configurable by html forms. The necessary data will be retrieved by new functions added to the sitelib library. The new features are net yet added to sourceforge, but will be available quickly. Documentation will be available as well. Check Siteseed.de for updates.
